Massive improvement over the "Bonk Demons" predecessor. However, there's some baffling design choices here. Namely, controls in the skill tree are sluggish and could easily be enhanced by allowing scrolling in/out, and dragging the screen to pan across the skill tree.
The gameplay itself is much better here, but still leaves a lot to be desired. The biggest issue is the hit detection of your swings, and the inability to control which direction you're swinging. Intuitively, it'd make sense that if you're clicking to the right of your character that you'll swing in that direction. Instead, it's hard to figure out what actually dictates the direction of your swing, leaving you smacking the ground while standing right beside a mob of enemies.
It's a step in the right direction. The balancing is still confusing as you can afford around a dozen upgrades after your first round, but then you'll need to run through several more rounds just to afford a single upgrade shortly thereafter. Feels like a throwaway project, and definitely still not something anyone should play. There's a fun game in there if it can be fixed up.
there is something majorly wrong with the idle feature XD. i went and had a smoke break while i left it on idle. came back to 9000 gold. upgrade idled again for like 3 seconds and almost crashed the game from how much gold i got. litteraly went to like billions? millions idk im high but it was crazy.
amazing experince tho just needs alot of balencing XD
Seems overdeveloped for such a short game, and the balance is nonexistent. Skill trees icons disappear after buying, the prices make zero sense, the unlock paths seem arbitrary, and swinging with every upgrade twice broke the game. All in all, took less than 8 minutes.
It broke very quickly. I think I got some relatively early quality+efficiency multipliers. Made me get 200k+ points from a single round like idk 3-4 rounds in? Something like that. Which made me able to buy every single upgrade. Then next round after that I got browser murdering amounts of points. So the game was something like 5 minutes long, give or take?
ah yes the ending of the game: after getting perfection and hitting something the game crashes
Yes, you've achieved the Perfection of incremental game genre: Increment beyond the game's limits
Thank you very much for playing! :D
Is there a way to move? It's easy to kill whatever spawns next to you, but then what?
Edit: Figured out it's right click. Would be nice if you could move with the arrow keys too.
Yes, sorry for the misunderstanding. With the right click, you can move.
Thanks for playing :D
the game is straight forward and I think you need to put a type of guide I felt lost other than that it's a good game
Thank you very much! I will look into making a guide that is not obnoxious. To be honest, I often find them as such, and don't want to make something annoying in my games, haha.
I'll do my best!
Just tried to install and run from the itch desktop app, and got the error "Unable to parse Build/13th Incremental Hunting Fix.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: br" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug."
That said, itch.io has been a bit buggy the last couple of days, so I'm not entirely sure if it's the game, or just itch again.
Yeah, might be an itch issue. I didn't really run into this issue even after taking countless approaches to the game. :/
Thanks for playing!
It literally breaks later on, and lags to the point of crashing the browser.
Sorry for that, the game increments into breaking your browser, haha! There are just too many points spawning in the end, I think. And I don't want to take away the sensation of breaking the game to be honest :/
Thanks for playing!
I like this game but sheeple looks really cool lol, ill have to play the demo at some point
Thank you!
I can't wait to see another player in Sheeple :D
