Operation Unthinkable is a clicker story game set quickly after WW2, it is based on Operation Unthinkable, a cancelled British plan to drive the Soviets out of East Germany and Poland.

This was a weird mix of genres for us and included many new challenges, clicker games generally do not include a story, but I believe it creates an interesting juxtaposition with the WW2 setting and it provided a fun challenge of trying to tell some story in what is essentially 20 lines of dialogue.

We also had recorded the VO ourselves, or have asked friends to help us record them, while far from professional, I think it added to much of the fun.

I like the premise, but a bunch of things are not very clear. For starters, what the upgrades do. Likewise where we need to click (I figured it out fairly early but still notable). I also did not hear any VO lines. No "Andre" or "Umeko" or anyone. Also the map in the corner is rather hard to read and your progress is not at all clear, and it seems like the game crashes with an error (or at least cryptic partially coded text) at the end. Finally, after upgrading the coin button enough it becomes very hard to see the prices for it; it might be useful to move the buttons slightly to the side.

I admire the effort, and I hope this game and your future efforts flower.

Thank you for the constructive criticism! It's true that we could've polished many things to make them work aesthetically and have better functionality, and we're also sad that VO lines decided to not work in the final build after extensive debugging, but we're hopeful that you found some enjoyment from the game.

I like the premise but I have no clue what the upgrades are or how anything works. Some hover infos would help quite a lot.

Likewise. This does seem promising. I didn't hear any voice lines either.
